The Best Records of the '10s
Guess I still can't beleive it's a new decade. Starting out though, 2010 had some solid records! Let's see what's what!
- 2011: Moonsorrow
- 2010: Exodus
The Best Records of the '00s
Another decade down and man! some great records in there! It appears I'm still a sucker for European metal, in fact, barring 2004 & 2005, every top album went to a European act. Kalmah is on there 4x! Skyfire had a 5-year lapse and yes, that's Metallica. Can you believe it?!
- 2009: Skyfire
- 2008: Kalmah / Metallica
- 2007: Arch Enemy / Exodus / Iced Earth / Jesu / Naglfar
- 2006: Kalmah / Lamb Of God
- 2005: The Black Dahlia Murder
- 2004: Exodus / Iced Earth / Skyfire
- 2003: Children of Bodom / Einherjer / The Haunted / Kalmah / Old Man's Child
- 2002: Blind Guardian
- 2001: Arch Enemy / Cradle of Filth / Soilwork
- 2000: Soilwork ... Children of Bodom / Cradle Of Filth / Kalmah

Being a teen in the early 90s and watching my favorite style of music fade from glory was a tough thing to stomach. Living through the resurrection in the latter part of the decade was an amazing experience. Like above, check out the full list below and see the highlights under that.

- 1998: Opeth
- 1997: Emperor / Dimmu Borgir / Satyricon
- 1996: Opeth / In Flames / Dimmu Borgir / Tool
- 1995: Dissection / At The Gates / In The Woods
- 1994: Godflesh
- 1993: Dissection / Sarah McLachlan / Katatonia
