19th January, 2006
Trevor and Erin Esposito

A very private ceremony was held on the evening of Thursday, the 19th of January, 2006. As with any wedding, I'm sure, it was far from a perfect day. Ultimately however, it was memorable beyond words, and formed a legal bond that existed in so many ways for so many years prior.

In the presence of Erin's daughters, Reinah Lynn and Cassidy Rae, I could envision no bride more beautiful. Her eyes were wide with excitement, her smile huge with happiness. As she looked at me, her hair curled with perfection, cheeks flush, I felt overwhelmed with bliss. This day we had both dreamt of first more than a decade prior. Initials carved in a tree deep in the woods of Maine remain, 12 years later. Our love endured season after season. It never faltered, even through the pangs of the impossiblity of a relationship. An impossibility overcome.

Held in Dana Davis' house in Alexander, ME, Erin Melissa Carlow and I, Trevor Esposito, gave our hands to one another. A formal ceremony and reception will follow this summer, here in Calais, Maine.
